The conservancy is situated on the Equator west on Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya, Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts as the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and is host to the Big five among a large selection of other African animals, which makes it a popular safari destination.
It sits on a 90,000 acres land and houses the three remaining Northern White Rhinos in the world. It also provides sanctuary for the great apes, orphaned, abandoned and rescued chimpanzees.
